Good morning from a chilly corner of La Sarthe, where we arrived safely yesterday evening after a difficult journey.

All vehicles being searched before boarding ferry delayed our departure by 40 minutes. A choppy crossing followed so there was little chance of dozing in our cabin. Slow progress through French Immigration meant we were late leaving the port only to face busier roads and wet weather!

Thank you for the good wishes for our journey. I’m glad of the chance to relax after a busy month.

An encouraging outcome to your hospital appointment, Mick is good to hear.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry and cold outside here in brackley .
Yesterdays trip to JR as to seeing Colonial Nursing team member , was OK , I was told I can now relax and enjoy myself as to taking holiday breaks , sorted out things like Ct scans and blood tests as well over next few years .
Anyway , bus as usual to Bicester , plan to get a Yule Log plus other cakes , also have a beer .
