Good morning from a very mild South Downs.

Yesterday I so enjoyed my afternoon tea with daughter, but was awake with indigestion until after midnight☹️ - penalty of getting older.

Today I shall make mince pies and a French apple tart for Boxing Day - for eldest grandson who is dairy intolerant - everyone else will have trifle. - then relax.

Vegetarian lasagna, followed by Apple, pecan and maple syrup pudding with ice cream.

Peace and harmony to all the world

Good morning from Bristol. Stormy here, loads of rain, sadly.
Mizuna, I’m very pleased about your son’s ankle, and hope that it gets better fast.
I’ve been awake for an hour and have cooked the cinnamon buns, prepared last night and kept in the fridge, already. I’ll take them to DD’s after lunch.
The family is In Wales for lunch at SiL’s uncle. He was married to DD’s MiL’s identical twin. She was killed in a car crash three years ago. The families are very close.
I had a lovely afternoon at DD’s; we were preparing the vegetables for tomorrow. There will be 14 of us.
Today, church first thing, Nativity at one of DD’s churches at 4, then midnight communion (at 9pm) at her other church…. Iris is very excited; it’s the first time she is allowed to join the grownups.
May today bring only contentment and joy to you all. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from Cornwall where it's misty and mild. The massed choirs were lovely yesterday, the town thronging with people. A great atmosphere.

Thank you for your kind comments about my son. He has broken his foot, is equipped with a boot, no driving for six weeks. Hopefully his dad can help him out with getting to his photography jobs. I won't be able to see him till after Boxing Day, which is a shame as I'd like to make him a cuppa or some food, but he's very capable so I mustn't fuss. 😍

Today I'll see what bargains there are in Tesco later but meanwhile lounge around and read and gently potter for a change. If I choose I can join in with carols around a fire pit outside my church at 3o'clock. Tonight I'll watch some mindless TV and then the great day will be upon us!

Good morning. I'm at my daughter's for a couple of days. Waiting until someone else is up so I can go and make some tea. Gasping! Happy Christmas Eve everyone.
