Good morning from a mild part of the Sarthe from where we wish you all a peaceful and joyful Christmas.

Much of yesterday was spent locating an emergency vet for our younger cat who arrived home with an injured shoulder. The vet thought it wasn’t due to a car hitting him - no bones broken, thankfully nor internal injuries. The wound was clean as if he’d been caught in something. He has been prescribed antibiotics and ointment.

In other news….. DH broke a tooth and I discovered a mouse had chewed one of my crocs, not worn for a while. The good news was that we had a fine, sunny day yesterday!

Today can only be better. Have a wonderful day, everyone. 🦩🎄🧑🏻‍🎄⛄️🦩

Happy Christmas from Bristol.
I haven’t looked out, but as it rained steadily all yesterday and the same is promised today, I’m not hopeful.
I had a quiet day yesterday, with no fewer than three church services.
The last was held at 2100, the idea being that by the end of the service, it would be midnight in Bethlehem. Many of the parishioners were delighted at the early start, and the reason for it.
Today, SiL’family descend. They a planning a post-prandial walk. Not much chance of that, methinks.
May I wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a peaceful, healthy, anxiety-free New Year. Carpe diem 🎄🎄🎄❤️❤️❤️🦩🦩🦩
