Just finished taking down the Christmas Tree, done a deep clean downstairs, had a meal now laying on the sofa, reading Gransnet, then I will watch casualty. Enjoy your evening everyone.

...oodie not oldie!

I’ve just eaten my practice run of Syrian chickpea stew and spicy potatoes for a World vegetarian food group I belong to. Delicious!
I’m watching Pointless Celebrities and will watch Nomadland later.
Enjoy your evening, everyone.

Just surfing the net and reading GN. DH is watching Poirot and I am looking up every now and then but not really following the plot. I shall get into pj's in a minute, and the huge cuddly hoodie thing I got for Christmas, oldie I think it is called. We've just had a cup of tea and a piece of chocolate. I may do a bit of knitting or finish the book I am reading, (the road to Little Dribbling by Bill Bryson).

I have had a nice pork steak dinner with my adult kids and are playing board games with them

I'm sitting with a cosy blanket over my knees, in my pj's already, having eaten a delicious meal cooked by dh, watching celebrity rubbish on BBC1.

I’ve managed to leave the bed after over a week trying to beat covid. Can’t believe I haven’t had the telly on in all that time. Turned on to Father Brown but any suggestions would be good. Thank you

Thank you Grandmabatty, it looks right up my street!
I watched Goodnight Mr.Tom for the first time the other night and I’m in the mood for something similar 👍

Hollysteers waves furiously at you. Twas me who mentioned The Children of Green Knowe. I hope you enjoy it. I am watching Towering Inferno for the umpteenth time. I'm lying on the couch in my cosy dressing gown. I'm going to have a whisky and green ginger shortly then an early night to a warm bed and to read.

I am binge watching Karl Pilkington “An idiot abroad”…
Very few things I actually laugh out loud at, but this is one of those rarities..

Watching the Post Office programme.
I am always two scats behind with tv watching.

I am having some Christmas cake and coffee and am just about to watch a Burt Bacharach programme I recorded over Christmas and maybe the Ballet Rambert version of Peaky Blinders on iplayer. Enjoy your Saturday night.

Wish you better Optimistic

We've just eaten a curry I made. We are going to watch a Channel 4 series "Truelove" according to a thread on GN it's good. About to find out.

I'm laid up due to a knee injury - am sat alone but happily obsessed with & playing various GN games - better than TV at the moment 😊.

Hope you feel better soon 🤞

I’m sitting under my cosy heated throw, thinking I should go and eat something. I’m pleased I had some exercise today, walking in the sand dunes at the bottom of the road.
After a late supper, I’m going to watch The Children of Green Knowe. I found it on YouTube after a gransnetter here mentioned it.

Hope your cold doesn’t develop and you have a nice night.

I am sat on my own watching the daft but enjoyable masked singer - I can never guess any of them but it makes me laugh! I am also cross stitching.

Started with a head cold yesterday so not left the house today and it seems to have done the trick as I am feeling much better.

Hope everyone else is having a contented Saturday night
