Does Anyone Remember Paper Cut Out Dolls?

Yes, I remember them.. little tabs on the clothes to bend around the body. For some reason I put mine into the narrow gap between the bath and bath panel. Didn’t mean to let go but there she was - gone!

When I was little (in the 60s) my mum would often buy me a book with a paper cut out doll. I would spend hours quietly playing with it, dressing it up in different outfits with matching handbags and hats. I haven't seen them on sale for a long time. Maybe today's children wouldn't find them so absorbing. I did manage to buy a wooden one for my granddaughter, but she wasn't interested. I think she prefers her kindle, ha! ha!

Does anyone else remember them?
