MissA that’s not a dream….more of a nightmare!

I once dreamed the whole of a 12.5 hour shift at work.

Making beds, helping people up, breakfast, helping people to eat.
Right the way through the day, into the night, until everyone was safely back and cosy in their beds, and everywhere was tidy.

Then I woke up and had to go and do it all again!!!

😆😆
I have some weird dreams. Some quite disturbing ones, too! One of my DGS's was asking me about my dreams the other week and the only one that I could remember was a very disturbing one, so I chose not to share it with him which left me in a quandary as his parents said he'd know if I made something up!
In the end I had to leave it, just telling him that my dreams weren't for little boys full of innocence!!
I often wonder/ponder, though, if our dreams stem from past lives we've lived or even us going into parallel universes when we sleep and thus getting to live in our lives in those universes for a while?!

I was living in a tower block, 8 floors up. I had a big jet black fluffy cat called Twinkle and she was in a child's buggy with a rain cover over. She was strapped in so was safe. I tried to close my door but it got stuck so I just put it on the catch. The lift was directly next to my door but it wasn't working; the 2nd door wouldn't shut and it was jamming the 1st door so I apologized to Twinkle and said I'll have to clunk her down 16 flights of stairs but will be as gentle as I could.

On the ground floor I couldn't find the exit so asked a woman who was coming out of her flat which was directly next to the exit.

Got outside and the only way to get to the shops and streets was through the Job Centre, I had to ask 2 applicants and a staff member where the exit was as I couldn't find it.

It was absolutely awful outside. Boring crumbling grey buildings, various homes/businesses covered in graffiti, dull suppressive atmosphere, gangs of utterly bored kids/teen's hanging around knowing they've got no future there.

I found a long line of shops, a lot boarded up/damaged but had to go in as I needed groceries. Inside the shop was horrendous with stock dumped all over the floor, low lighting, damaged shelves etc. Bought a few things and left. I put them in a carrier and dangled them over the buggy handles.

I had a over-the-shoulder strap handbag. Found a bit of grass and laid down. I put the buggy right in front of me and Twinkle was playing on the grass. I asked her to stay there as I needed the loo. There was one dilapidated old thing directly next to the grass. Took my handbag in with me. Came out and realized I didn't have my bag, went back in and it wasn't there! Then I realized the buggy was missing! Thankfully my cat was still where I left her, playing with a bit of wood. I asked her if she's seen my bag and her buggy and she helped me look for them on the grass.

In the end I said to her ''well, Twinks, it looks like I'll have to carry you'' and she jumped in my arms and wrapped herself around me and we walked off. I was more concerned about losing the buggy than my bag with my purse etc. in it!
