Poor you, Urms, so painful, and just when you don’t need anything else to contend with. Hope you feel better soon and that someone is taking care of you both.
Oh Urms you’ve got enough to contend with, not surprised you’re fed up. Lots of tlc and rest as much as you can, accept any help on offer x
(((Hugs))) Urmstongran 🌼
Good afternoon from a very cloudy and cold East Midlands. Late getting up but feel a lot better and on the road to recovery. take care everyone.
Sorry to hear you’re feeling so poorly Urms hope you’re much better soon ❤️
Sending you love*Urms*, hope you feel better soon.
urms 💐
Blimey Urms! 🌹
Urmston 💐 I hope you recover quickly.
Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
DD arrived last night after long drive from the south. We had a nice meal of garlic and herb chicken. She was very tired after a period of short haul flights with early starts, but was out for a run early this morning whilst I turned over and dreamt that Princess Anne told me she had become a republican and did not believe in the whole royal thing😁
I might go for a walk in the sand dunes, practise songs or drive out to Ye Olde part of town as it’s nice.
So sorry Urms, you could do without that💐 and thoughts to all with worries, will read through later 🌺
Urms sending you a virtual hug take care💐
Oh Urms. 🌹💐🌼
I’m feeling proper sorry for myself. Saw the doctor on Thursday. On top of my anosmia which I have now had for two weeks (not Covid) which is horrid in itself, turns out I have pleurisy.
Stilllearning I hope you feel more like yourself soon. Could be the time of year is exacerbating it. 💐
Oh Gingster how awful for your poor DD, having to go through the scan, then wait, then only to be told there’s no results and then have to go through the whole process again. I really feel for her, sending hugs ❤️
Stilllearning hoping things pick up a bit soon, take care 💐
Good morning from a dry Oxfordshire, so much rain over the last couple of days has left our village almost like an island. Feeling more like my normal self after a day flopping around yesterday, stomach bugs are horrid, I’ll make some chicken soup later that always seems to help.
Off to buy MzOops a windscreen wiper for her car this morning after having to take the whole thing with us to make sure we get the correct ones, they all look so similar, we might have to get a chap to help us.
MrOops spent most of yesterday cleaning and hoovering her car for her whilst she is in London, it will soon look like a tip inside and will be filled with sand as she swims each day, still, it will be clean for her drive home on Monday.
My car refused to start so it’s been on charge overnight. Such a pain when large lumps of metal sit outside and refuse to move.
Oil tank has been ordered and is due to be fitted next week, they need a fine day so fingers crossed that the weather coincides with the date they’ve booked it on.
I’ll get a plug in thingy which will flash when the oil is low and also an App on the phone which will tell you if you are away and running low. This is a good thing as my gauge attached to the tank gets filled with dead bugs and often sticks, leaving me to bang on the tank to figure out by the sound how my much oil is left. It’s being dragged into the 21st century at last.
Hope all the poorlies soon start to feel better, some Spring weather would help, some daffodils and tulips are coming up and my little irises are out already, the squirrels haven’t decimated them like the tulip pots, not many tulips left but quite a few walnuts planted as a substitute.
Have a good day everyone, let’s hope the sun shines on us today.
"DoutLaw", "SoutLaw", baubles. I like it. Consider it adopted 🙂
Good morning and good wishes to everyone 🦩
Good morning from a very damp South Lanarkshire. Another night of broken sleep, too much thinking going on!
Quite a few difficulties recently, among them a series of problems with the car at the same time as problems with my eyesight, have made me feel almost incapable of making decisions. I read about the feeling of ‘languishing’ and it seems to describe how I’ve been since Christmas.
So, today an overdue visit to my sister in law who made me feel really guilty last night when I called her, by saying happily “Oh I’ve been thinking about you all day”. I hope I can live up to her expectations.
I hope your family celebration of the Chinese New Year went well baubles, it sounded lovely occasion.
Susan I felt for you and your mum when I read about your 2. 30 am phone call.
Your weekend plans sound lovely Grandmabatty and I wish everyone the best day possible.
Good morning all and I slept later this morning. The sun is shining and it feels milder.
Yesterday DD went along to the hospital for the results of her MRI only to be told of no record of her appointment! 😤. She didn’t have a letter , only a phone call last week , so no proof.
We now wait again for another appointment. The NHS is sadly broken.
DH and I went swimming yesterday and spent time in the spa which was lovely. I hope he will go regularly - I know it will be so beneficial.
Rose we have a summerhouse at our Suffolk seaside hideaway. It’s quite a big one and we’re in there more than in the cottage during warmer months. We love it and even use it in the winter with a couple of heaters and blankets to keep us cosy. Tea making equipment and the radio , reading and crafting . We did lose our old previous one in a Gale a few years ago, but we are very open to the elements there , and the new one is bolted down 🤞. I’m sure you’ll enjoy having one.🏡.
Marydoll what a shame your outing didn’t go well. Frustrating for you.
Bellasnanna enjoy your well earned break. You deserve it.
Take care and hopefully all your days are ‘good’ ones. 🌷
Good morning everyone from sunny Severnside.
I felt grumpy yesterday as I shopped in the rain.
As it’s bright outside I’m tempted to do some outside/garage pottering.
Have a good day all 🌸
Good morning everyone from Inverness, it’s warmed up slightly and the snow is melting
Such a shame your DH lost his ring Liberty, really frustrating when you loose something valuable and sentimental
I got myself back to the gym yesterday, it was hard going back after a 3 week break but I was pleased afterwards. In the afternoon I caught up with my pal and we sat for ages chatting. DH is working this morning so I’ll potter about for a while and we’ll maybe go for a walk later this afternoon
Hope the cough eases soon kalu and you sleep better tonight
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐
Good morning from wet South Lanarkshire.
Yesterday’s New Year’s Eve feast prepared by DoutLaw’s mother was delicious. She gave an interesting toast to prosperity and good health accompanied by all of us lifting the noodles in the serving bowl as high as possible using chopsticks.
There was enough food left to feed them again today so as to avoid using knives. I was given a gift of chocolates and oranges when leaving. Such interesting traditions. DS and partner have been together many years and I knew that they celebrated Chinese New Year but this was the first time we had been with them all.
Today is the birthday of DD’s youngest child so we will be with them this afternoon for tea and cake.
Sorry to hear that you’re having such a rough time again Marydoll.
Wishing everyone the best day possible.
Good morning from a foggy NE.
Was going to have a leisurely morning because my back is still painful but message from DS at 8am to say he would be here at noon. I am going to have to get myself organised.
Have a good weekend.
