Sadly no Valentines for me, but my GD and I tossed pancakes last night for dessert as she always comes to dinner on Tuesdays. Traditional lemon and sugar.

We’ve been together for 56 yrs and haven’t ever sent a Valentines card to each other. I’m not sure it’s ever mattered🤗

We always celebrate Valentine's Day with cards. This year though Dh surprised me with some lovely earrings too.

I don't celebrate either - but Ash Wednesday fasting will put the kybosh on Valentine's dinners for some of my extended family.

Both fall on the same day this year. Which one means anything to you or does the day just pass like any other? We are going to get our ashes this morning and I gave my husband an unexpected valentine card as he has not been in great health the last few years
