I have no idea why you keep insulting Gransnetters on thread after thread Violetsky .
Well, I do have an idea 🤔
Patronising comments about mature love
Angela Rayner is a scrounger, grifter and shameless hypocrite.
Transgender women born between 31 October 1953 and 6 November 1953 may be eligible for State Pension from 31 October 2018 to the date of their 65th birthday.
I’m not sure how I feel about this.

No Daily Fail headlines recently then

I take it there haven't been many Daily Fail headlines recently and this was the best that could be done to have a general pop at a vulnerable demographic going on gransnet
This was not a Daily Mail headline!
I stumbled across it on the Government website on pensions.
I can multitask.

It doesn't matter if it is one man or many.
Or if they have had cosmetic surgery or not.
It is our gov, (if this info is correct) being hijacked by this ideology and making decisions on our behalf without taking our opinions into account.
My opinion is that there are many more important issues to ask my opinion about.

But then again, I’m one who believes trans gender people are now the gender they’ve transitioned to.
Gender, not sex. Of course 🙂
However, what was their declared gender when they were working and paying NI? Surely that is what counts.

Now trans women are responsible for the gender pay gap?
Cool
What else can we pin on them?
Global warming?
Underfunding of the NHS?
The bigger gaps in Toblerone these days?🙄🙄
No. I don't think anyone said anything remotely like that.
What I said was that I wondered whether men who benefited from an average 20% more pay until they 'identified' as women would be prepared to pay back the extra money.
If it's ok to take money owed to the women who used to retire earlier after a lifetime of discrimination in the workplace, surely it's not ok to keep the money they were given for being a man? In other words what's sauce for the goose is, well, sauce for the goose.
Women have traditionally been the care givers too, many taking a break in their careers to bring up a family, look after elderly parents.
Not so much now, of course, but in the 1950s and 1960s many women stayed at home for a number of years or worked part-time and are living on much more reduced pensions than men who managed to pay in for the required number of years to receive a full pension. And benefited from the higher pay which men earned for doing the same job for many years.

I don't think people would have changed their identity for money but to be the same as how they feel about themselves. I feel blessed to feel the same gender as when I was born . That is one less struggle I have to face.
It depends when, though, surely?
Women have been cheated right, left, centre out of their pensions and this is just another insult.

That is my view too -

I think every human being who has received unfair treatment deserves compassion and their concerns taken seriously and rectified
But look to those responsible personally, not creating scapegoats to vent ire at, especially not another vulnerable demographic
Yes!

I’m a bit astounded by some of the comment here, from people who claim to be “open minded”
Yet another seemingly diversive tactic from this current govt! All it’s doing is causing issues and problems.
I’m a WASPI, I don’t care who does and doesn’t tick the box for state pensions at 65 or 66 so long as they’ve paid in.
Yes, I think us WASPI women should be compensated, but I don’t think it’s ever gonna happen.
This whole TG pension thing just seems like a very odd diversion from our govt!
But then again, I’m one who believes trans gender people are now the gender they’ve transitioned to. I notice no one ever mentions trans women who’ve transitioned to men? One of my old female colleagues is married to a trans man, I knew him before he transitioned, he’s done the whole thing, and I defy anyone whose has never him to even know he once was female!

Oh yea! 🤪🤪🤪
and it is our gc who will reap the worst of it.
But they will be so indoctrinated that what seems to be pushing boundaries now will seem like the norm to them and even wider boundaries will be established.

A minute number-unless lots of males come flooding out claiming that they’ve been TW since birth and their birthdate fits that window.

I would like to know how many trans women were born in that six day period, maybe none. It doesn’t bother me but would mean so much to those women so why not.
Which women?
