Who are you talking to VS?
Patronising comments about mature love
Angela Rayner is a scrounger, grifter and shameless hypocrite.
Transgender women born between 31 October 1953 and 6 November 1953 may be eligible for State Pension from 31 October 2018 to the date of their 65th birthday.
I’m not sure how I feel about this.
Who are you talking to VS?
Do you do this in actual conversation?
I hear it the "No you are but what am I" kind of thing in real life but that's because I spend at least an hour a day on a playground
The name is Bridie,!
More than a handful VS,
You must try harder not goodvenough in afraid lol 🤣
Sorry about that Brodie
Yes it was Rosie who who tried to tie a knot with her own comments there
Wrong poster VS I think it might be Rosie51 you misrepresented
Bridie22
No I'm not happy at all VS.
Today is international women's day, can I pose a question to the posters on this thread,
Do any of you support VS in her opinions of transwomen?
There's like, a handful of posters
Not exactly a representative cross section of society is it?
No... I haven't misrepresented you at all there Bridie you even followed up by saying how you think of them is more accurate than how they think of themselves
Not good I am afraid

Lesbians who date intact transwomen are of course perfectly free to do so, but I'd have thought they were more accurately described as bisexual. The definition of homosexual is homo=same sex attracted. Hetero=opposite sex attracted. Anybody happy to have sex with a vagina or a penis is bi= two sex attracted. You have sex with sexed bodies not some amorphous identity.
Oh dear, this is muddy ground trying to tell a lesbian they are not a lesbian because they date trans women
As bad as telling a lesbian they must date trans women really
Or you could just accept that some lesbians are attracted to trans women because they are trans women and not men
You're misrepresenting me VioletSky that's dishonest! I'm not trying to tell a lesbian they're not a lesbian I merely expressed my opinion that a more accurate description would be bisexual. I am not telling them they have to describe themselves such, just that's how I'd think of them.
PS
Happy International Woman's Day!
Here's to all the strong, independent, resilient, inspirational women out there who are comfortable and strong in their womanhood!
Especially as you do not know what is in the pants of the trans women

Are you really being serious VS!!! You posted that "trans people can and do make alterations to their bodies to bring their sex in line with their gender".
I posted that they do not. "They make changes to represent outwardly, what they believe inwardly their gender should be. They cannot bring their sex in line with their gender. They cannot change sex, only their outward appearance".
How on earth is that saying the same thing?
Read back, I clearly said in appearance
I don't know how you have missed it... Twice... I hope you wouldn't deliberately leave out part of a quote to change another person's meaning as that is quite dishonest
Bridie22
Ergo they are not the sex they wish to be...your words VS, they may wish to be the opposite sex but that isn't going to happen.
That is what I said, by agreeing with it are you happy that you understand what gender dysphoria actually is?
Are you happy to agree with the government that the cause of gender dysphoria is biological?
Smileless2012
Trans women do not belong to a lesbian dating event, unless all lesbians in attendance want them to be there because trans women are not women.
Are we not at the moment talking about whether trans women should be at a lesbian dating event? If so what does being bi sexual have to do with it?
Some lesbians agree trans women are women
So their opinions don't matter?
Why?
Why do people who wish to exclude trans women think themselves entitled to speak for all women?
That's not how anything works
In your opinion VS but some lesbians would disagree that someone who dates a trans woman is a lesbian and before you ask, I know two.

And the law agrees. Court case recently decided that a lesbian event can go ahead, one that is fir women only.

So things aren't real if they are recent history? That's an odd thought
Did I say that? I merely noted that your two anecdotal accounts were not recent, so one wonders how frequently these 'incidents' happen. I notice you make no comment on one person giving their individual experience (which you take as evidence) but discounting the experiences of an 80 person sample.

Men committing crimes not trans people.

Some lesbians date trans women and are still lesbians, when you want to allow women a choice in who they date, you must allow for all women, which means not pushing your personal view that trans women do not belong at a lesbian dating event upon all the lesbians who wish to join it.
Yes some of your examples given examples are not transphobia but some are in some circumstances and your second to last paragraph definitely is an example of transphobia.
As a bisexual myself, I have experienced homophobia and understand what it looks like and back in the day, people's mistreatment of myself and my friends were justified by similar stories of gay people commiting crimes. Neither myself or my friends were guilty of such but were treated as if we were... That was homophobia
