Lunch out with both daughters the eldest is also celebrating her birthday so all her children and GC will join us. I’ll be a little sad too as my younger brother died 3 days ago I might raise a glass to him.

Mothering Sunday lunch with my youngest son and daughter in law. So pleased he always calls it by the correct name.

One of my DDs has invited me round for lunch, and also her local sister. I have pointed out that they are all Mums and need some spoiling - I am making a cake.

All my children and grandchildren are coming to lunch - which I am providing and cooking.......but I'm definitely not clearing up!

I had years of being with my children on Mother's day - it's their turn to be spoilt now. And, I know they won't forget me.

My daughter is coming, I will cook and we are going somewhere.

It’s just another day for me now, so no plans.

Mothering Sunday isn’t.

My daughter dropped in yesterday leaving a card, flowers and two slices of home made cake, as she is away with a friend for the weekend in Tenerife.
Tomorrow after church I am going to my son’s for lunch which he will cook. His Yorkshire puddings are the best. His wife’s parents will be there too.

One son is taking me out for coffee/cake in the morning.
The other son always comes to dinner on Sundays anyway.
I am truly sad for all mothers who don't see their sons, or daughters.

DS2 is picking me up after his hockey match to take me home with him to be with his family for the weekend.

Thinking of all the mums who no longer have their own mother. My mum died 7 years ago next Friday.
Also mums who no longer have contact with their sons and daughters for whatever reason.
I've been estranged from my son now for 5 years .

We are going to our daughter’s for lunch. Which will be special

Mr R and I are going to DD1 for dinner. DD2 + SIL and GS1 will be there plus DS1 (his wife and daughter are going to her mums.)
I chose my present .... Its' from all of them. Its a M&S handbag and I am looking forward to getting it!

I'll be lucky if I get a card from my son, he's useless..takes after his Father, if I didn't put one under his nose to write his late mum wouldn't have got one either.
Daughter very pregnant so I'll be lucky to see her... But she won't forget.
Mothers day just another Sunday for me.

Being taken out to lunch tomorrow by all the family. Blessed.
