I cannot find the precise thread , but I also called SS HO on Saturday due to the FB scam .
It took until Yesterday for them to issue this via email ( I’m on the mailing list )
Dear customer,

Over the last few weeks, you may have seen fraudulent websites or social media adverts, using our Seasalt logo and images, targeting our customer community. I wanted to personally let you know that these sites and accounts are not at all connected to Seasalt and we have been doing everything we can to have them taken down.

Not seen these yet.

Facebook is still awash with scam adverts for Seasalt. I have reported a few but Facebook are not interested.

There is a thread abut this which includes a link (I think) to a statement from Seasalt.

These scams have been going on for a long time involving many different brands, they really are offers that are too good to be true so doubt many will be taken in by them.

Yes I had email from Seasalt CEO yesterday warning of scammers.

There was one a few months ago regarding the company white stuff. I got taken in. I let the company know and they were very grateful. We have to be so careful and remember that if something seems to be too good to be true it’s probably a scam.
