New car - Anyone got the new Mazda MX30-R-EV? Any thoughts?

We currently have a Mazda CX5 which is currently showing it's age (aren't we all!) and have been looking at the MX30-R-EV.

Apparently, it has a revolutionary type of engine which I have had explained to me confused but I would welcome any comments from anyone has any experience of this model in real life. Good or bad.

My Son has one, loves a lot about it but has been complaining about a noise which we think is the suspension and kept getting fobbed off with we've looked at it and can't find anything wrong. He persisted and persisted said he'd get it independently checked, no need he received an email today from the showroom he bought it from and there's now a recall on the front suspension. I guess he wasn't the only one not happy with it. It does have brilliant acceleration though. At least you won't have the same issue with the suspension as they've now accepted there is a problem.
