Why are trouser hangers so badly designed that they tangle together in the wardrobe even when it’s not particularly full?

Why do pheasants at the side of the road see your car approaching and suddenly feel an urgent suicidal tendency coming on?

I’ve just looked up Hungarian herding dogs, there appear to be several types. IMO the mudi is the most attractive.

Mudi - intelligent, lively, keen, energetic, courageous.

Ginger ale and lime is delicious.

I’d like to relive my life.

Oh yes, for me music is a vital language . Music and Art are the joys of my life. When I have a horrible night and a lot of pain I look forward to getting my precious china cup of lovely fresh coffee and sitting and listing at five to seven to Bach before 7 on radio 3. It lifts the spirits and helps me face the day whatever may come or go.

Religion has been responsible for a great deal of strife and disharmony but great art works, literature, music and architecture have been inspired by religion.

Why does my local hospital have notices all over the place declaring ZERO TOLERANCE of rudeness and yet quite a few of the staff are very rude, especially the staff nurse in the fracture clinic.

When I worked in a hospital we were told that people are often not at their most polite when then are feeling anxious, ill or downright scared.

My sister and her husband in Spain rescued a young Viszla last year (Hungarian hunting dog). Very affectionate. Known as “Velcro” dogs because they are so attached to their family.

Do they smell? I would love one, but Mr D thinks that dander would get caught in the dreadlocks and it would be impossible to groom them to get it out.

You raise a very good point for a theological discussion LN.
Perhaps I should have written 'man in the name of religion'
about the first bit about strife etc.

As for the second bit, I think that divine inspiration may have played a part in the creation of such works as Mozart's Requiem and Handel's Messiah.

It's the Puli I like. I'm sure they are very impractical, but gorgeous. The picture is s show one, and pets would be unlikely to have their dreads as long as that, but they can be very thick (the dreads, not the dogs!) and I suspect they will be smelly.

It does. I only know one, and he has thicker dreadlocks - maybe the finer ones are for show dogs.

So much like Dougal, but nose isn't as big! My dog looks like Basil Brush, little foxy snout, pleased-with -himself expression, tail-wagging identical, but he doesn't have that ghastly voice!
