Sunshine when I wake up. Walking in woodland. Smiles.

Time with my family and friends. Walks in the countryside outside my home and seeing the dogs that walk there too.
A sunny day. Reading in bed if I wake early

Just knowing I have a comfortable home, family, friends, meaningful activity and no immediate money or physical worries. Could all change of course so I try to be happy in the moment.

My art. Finding subjects that fill me with inspiration and then seeing what sort of creation I can make of them.
Walking by the sea.
Fine spring and autumn days when the temperature is just right.
Having a conversation with someone special where you come away feeling connected.
Helping out at our church fetes and events to make people happy, make them feel connected, and also raise funds for good causes.

Rippling soft shadows of the plants and trees outside my sitting room patterning my inside walls.

Having all my family together, especially when my darling sister, her husband and two girls join us, just perfect.

Blue skies, being by the sea in any weather (not in it or on it), newly laundered and ironed bedding.

Rereading favourite novels and watching favourite films.

Christmas, I just love it, must have real trees though.
