I wore the light blue linen dress this morning, and the darker blue this afternoon at the beach. I ended up with two because John Lewis sent me the wrong dress and basically offered me such a good discount to keep the first, I couldn't refuse! I'll put them on a 20 minute 30 degree gentle wash tonight, drip dry, and they'll be ready for wear tomorrow.

Denim shorts and white t shirt...I'm wfh today

Since we went out for lunch and I am always cold in Air Conditioning, I wore white Saint Tropez narrow trousers with a long sleeved white Indian cotton blouse that has a crystal sequin like treatment on the bodice and sleeves which roll up and it can be worn tucked in or out ..

And a pair of white sport shoes from Adidas as we had walked over to the restaurant and we both like to be comfortable.

A long, loose cotton dress. I call it my sack of potatoes dress (or one of them, I have two) but who cares?

In my dreams 🤣🤣I’m actually wearing an old pair of cropped trousers, a Sainsbury’s top and some old flip flops. My face is as red as a beetroot and my hair is stuck to my face. Elegant is definitely not my middle name 😂

a lightweight linen trapeze dress that I made, lovely and cool. Fitted at my shoulders and neck, loose and floaty around my body. Rust colour and white. Perfect for today

Navy knee length linen shorts, sleeveless cotton sky blue top.

Jeans, t-shirt, trainers. We've socket-duct aircon, my husband is miserable hot all day working outside and prefers our home pleasant.

I'm just home from the shops, so I'll swap my trainers for crocs for the garden, I'll do some tidying and weeding, then sit out with my knitting. Nice sunny day here in Lanarkshire, few and far between this summer. 🌞

At the moment I'm at work on a quickie break and am wearing light grey cushion step slip on shoes, navy trousers, black/red t-shirt and a black sleeveless jacket.

Thinking of ''what are you wearing today?'' reminded me of the hilarious situation years ago in 2007!

I'd got a call from some company trying ... and failing ... to get me to sign my life away with them, can't remember what it was but it was something really boring like electric or something.

I don't know if the bloke was new to the job and was trying to make a good impression, he obviously hadn't read any of their ''how to speak to customers'' manual as he was loud and gobby, wouldn't listen when I said thank you but no and kept calling me ''babe'' and darlin''.. I snapped at him ''I'm NOT your babe or darlin' and I'm NOT interested in your products.

I was just about to hang up when he asked '' hey, babe, what are you wearin'? I'm not bein' creepy or anything, I just want to know!''

My hubby was in the room with me and the phone was on speaker so he could hear everything this Mr-I'm-In-Love-With-Myself was saying!

I quietly handed him the phone with a huge smile and in a big gruff macho voice said ''well, sweetie, I'm 5'9 and 18 stone, balding with a beard and tosh ... (which he is) ... and I'm wearin' this great big pair of lavender scented frilly knickers with matching bikini top and Givenchy perfume and a cute little flower in my beard and don't you EVER again ask my wife what's she's wearin' or call her babe or darlin' ever again. Got it?!''

The creep hung up fast and we never heard from him again!

To say I was laying on the settee on my back in fits of hysterical laughter is no understatement! My hubby was magnificent!

A pink/white candy striped & spotty dress which I bought 3 years ago on Herne Bay pier for £10. Bra-less as too uncomfortable with healing sternum stitches. I am not, however, knickerless!

Having a very lazy morning after an exhausting day yesterday. Still in my dressing gown and pink knickers!

What I mentioned in my post is the full extent of my outfit . I'll take precautions against getting run over if I go out though.

Have just showered and dressed but before that completed bathroom cleaning wearing very little, ahem!😊
