Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s clear blue sky and another warm sunny day is forecast
Safe travels to MzOops, Oops sounds like a good adventure
I had a really enjoyable day yesterday, it was good to get my gym leggings back on and start some classes again! Today we’re off for a walk somewhere, we’ll probably stop for coffee and a cake somewhere too.
Have a lovely holiday Nannyjan the views look gorgeous 😎
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐

Morning all from a grey but dry West Oxfordshire.

My car failed its MOT yesterday. The handbrake doesn’t work sufficiently well. I hope it gets fixed today and retested. Also, I missed a gathering with friends in the afternoon. One of our number is still having cancer treatment and she agreed I should stay at home as I have a cold.

It is the U3A lunch today which OH will have to drive us to in the absence of my car.

Have a good day. It seems we are having an Indian summer.

Good morning everyone from south Glos where there’s high cloud and the promise of another sunny day. I slept very badly so saw that beautiful moon at several points during the night.
I went into a nearby town yesterday to pick up dog worming tablets from the vets, drop off several big bags of things at the charity shop (and snaffled a new Crew jumper for £5.99!) and then came back to the surgery to collect my medication.
Today DH has gone kayaking , he left at 5am 🙄, so dog and I will have a walk in a bit then I need to tackle the ironing. I have asked our lovely dog walker to do an extra one this afternoon because quite simply I’m struggling a bit at the moment.
A quiet day ahead 🌹

Morning all

The Imp was a good boy yesterday, my day was not so good. The arm fell off of my glasses, the optician cannot do anything until tomorrow so I am wearing an old pair.

Old pair have given me a bad headache which I woke up with at 4.30am!

I will drag myself to the gym this morning, pop into the butchers then attack the Everest of ironing.

Have a good day folks 🙋‍♀️

Thanks for that, Ash; I’ve tried it, but it’s not giving me the option to resize the photo.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Hopefully another warm sunny day.
I enjoyed 2 cuppas in the garden yesterday at different times with different friends, sharing our troubles.
I had a dental checkup too and yet another denture fitting. It won't be ready until October. I shall have to have a party!
Yarn group this morning and community lunch. Then collecting a birthday present for DGD who's 7 today but I won't see her until Saturday.

I hope your pain goes Mick and that everyone has a good day.

Good morning all from a grey North Leicestershire.

Our cleaner is due at 9 am, DH is off to the gym and then we are out for lunch with DS1 to celebrate his 53rd birthday - obviously, I was really, really young when he was born.

I have a zoom Carer's course this evening.

Good morning from s somerset, sun for much of today

I tossed and turned a lot last night, I can always tell when it is a full moon. I had plenty of personal moon energy yesterday but it continued through the night. I don`t feel like a dish rag, yet but expect I will when this moon phase is over

I spent the whole day doing heavy work in the garden yesterday, lump hammer and 6` tall iron stakes, compost bin, clearing veg beds, layering compost and covering to keep worms happy on the cleared veg beds, dismantling 3 very large tall and heavy pots. My car is full and I am doing a tip run in 3 hours

I am hoping to get the day back into harmony and will go upstairs to my sewing room at 7 pm, this will stop me dozing at silly o`clock.

Have a good day

Good morning from Skiathos ! Where after a very hot day yesterday it is cooler this morning.

Great flight yesterday, no delays and 10 minutes in taxi to Hotel from Airport.

A walk around to the harbour to and find our bearings today.

Photos are the view from our balcony.

Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning from Oxfordshire, a sunny day is forecast.
I was awake most of the night, but completely forgot to look at the sky, when I looked at 4.15am it was cloudy.

Up most of the night helping MzOops to pack her rucksack and now an early morning trip to the train station, she says she will sleep on the train, let’s hope she is awake enough to get her tickets, off to Europe and she will return in December. We will keep the car windows open to wake her up.

She is definitely a ‘last minute’ person, I was printing off copies of her insurance details at 2.15am.

We will probably go back to bed and let the day unfold a bit later on.

Have a good day everyone.

Greyduster: you can change the size:-

Click on Choose File
Click on the photo you’ve chosen
Click on Actual Size which should give you options for Large, Medium Or Small. I find Medium usually works.

Forgive me if you’ve already tried this!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Still dark in South Yorkshire, but a dry day expected. The moon was spectacular last night I watched it from my living room window, rise over the next village, and stood on the front lawn taking photos which sadly won’t download here because the image size is too large☹️. My nephew called round in the afternoon to do a small job for me and to bring me up to date with family news.
Writers group at the library this afternoon. I’ll pick up a few things while I’m at the mall.
Have the best day you can folks.

Good morning from a dry, clear Bristol. Did anyone see the supermoon/eclipse last night? I didn’t.
Warning, novella to follow.
Yesterday was supposed to have been quiet-ish and predictable but turned out to be a whirlwind.
I did two loads of washing and hung them out to dry, while I went to my outdoor tai chi class. It’s a long walk and I came home tired as usual.
I checked my mailbox only to find the agenda for a meeting in three hours I knew nothing about. I only had a dental appointment to fit in as well. Predictably, it was very expensive, with an even more expensive reconstruction of my tooth next week. I’m had to pay half the cost there and then. Ouch!
Had a very quick lunch on my return. I made sure I had a sleep, not having had more than 5 hours in the last ??? nights.
Once awake, I printed the agenda and rushed off to this meeting, it turn out to be two ! They were the first of the vicar’s wish to get various companies and clarities for “later life” to join and try not to overlap in things such as coffee mornings for demented people, or whatever.
Also, he wanted them to take place in three newly refurbished and repurposed rooms in the church. He had volunteered me on the various committees. The first coffee meeting is to be next week.
Back home, I made the promised baking for the church ladies’ guild this afternoon.
I finally had dinner, sat down exhausted only to have to sort out the laundry!
Today is quieter (I hope)
Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from a dry dark Torbay with sunny but breezy weather expected later.

My turn for a poor night but the first in a while. This morning I have the third of the Stroke Association Clinic Zoom sessions. I hope it’s as helpful as the first two were. Later we shall review the Agatha Christie play which has been most successful, artistically and financially with the highest attendances since before the pandemic.

Happy hump day! 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩

Good morning Mick and all from a dark and dry but windy north 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 coast - isn’t this weather glorious! We’re promised more of the same 🌞 until the weekend so I’m dhobi wallahing for Wales while it lasts!

Harrigran gets yesterday’s award 🥇 for making me laugh out loud 🤣 knickers and necklace are easily misheard! I embarrassed myself at Dad’s birthday do on Saturday when an acquaintance asked about the of size my lovely 👢👢whereby I whipped one off to check - seems she meant my embonpoint 🥴

This morning a special train 🚂 will be passing through our village so Mr PG has suggested we stand on the footbridge for a good view…🤔. Probably a man thing!

I shall take the opportunity to rope him in for blackberry picking duties on the way home as the hedgerows are teeming and I’ve got Dad’s 🍏🍏 to add along with hundreds of sugar sachets from Spain - crumble and jam coming up and all for free 🤗

I shall pop in later to read about all your little mischiefs, I hope they’re plentiful 😉
