I wasn't thinking this morning and after seeing an ad for a nice jumper several times I noticed it was now half price.
Without checking I ordered it and soon got a call from the bank. I have cancelled my card but they say there is nothing I can do for 15 days as the sweater may still arrive.
I don't think it will as I have now checked reviews and others have fallen for it too.
Don't scroll when bored!

I fell for this when ordering theatre tickets, it looked like a bona fide site but about a couple of hours later got a call from the bank which btw I hung up on then rang the number on the back of my card. They cancelled the transaction before it could go through.

I always Google a site if I haven't heard of a company selling things and read the reviews.
I know sometimes fake reviews can be left but I always have a look.

Trustpilot are good at alerting you to scams, after we were stung we got the app on our phones, just enter the name of the company and it will tell you immediately.

Wellform took money for stuff I never ordered! Told credit card company and they set up a subscription! This is fraud!

I ordered a Jo Malone Christmas advent Calendar last year sadly this was a scam however I’m most careful now and read all reviews. silly me I’ll not be so quick to order on line again unless it’s Amazon or else ill go into the shop myself duh

Yes, I got caught by the Jo Malone calendar scam. As Bonnybanko says, lesson learned.

I am turning away from on-line ordering and going back to good old-fashioned shopping in person. I can see exactly what I am getting, is much easier to return and no scams.
