You could try rinsing your sore mouth with some salty water for relief from the discomfort.

I had the same problem. Fortunately MrP has a dremel tool.
I explained exactly where it was hurting so he filled it down.

The title of this thread made me wonder what on earth the subject would be😬😂

Yes, don’t wear it until you’ve seen the dentist.I had a similar prob and he shaved a bit off it to make it comfortable for me, takes him seconds to do.You’ll make your gums sore if you continue to wear it now.
Put it back in its cosy bath😃

So sorry to hear that. Monday seems a long time to wait. I'd have thought this would be an emergency appointment. Could you maybe make a fuss tomorrow?

Hello fellow Grans, I need some suggestions please! I received a plate back from my Dentist with two new teeth attached. It was away from me for two weeks and so my mouth became used to being without it.

On Tuesday the dentist fitted it back in and it was uncomfortable to say the least. Anyway, I have removed it at night ready for its bath and today I just cannot fit it into my mouth. It partially goes in and then pivots so that the front drops forward.

I have tried throughout the day to refit but have ended up being more sore and not winning the battle. My dentist will not be around until Monday. Have you a solution for me, please?
