Shark cordless vacuum cleaner IZ202UK

I have been considering buying this cleaner but have been advised it can scratch hard floors, which mine mainly are. Does anyone have personal experience, good or bad, of this cleaner? Thanks.

I had a Shark cordless and it never worked. The debris dropped out again as soon as I switched off. I tried upending the pipe after each swipe but it still happened. I found that loads of other people had reported this problem online. I bought the Shark as it had a hair detangler in the head but as it never sucked properly, I did not discover if this worked.

I now have a Miele which works perfectly so I don't think it was me. My DD has a Dyson which is fine. I have parquet floors and DD has laminate and neither of us aware of scratching.
