I have hip arthritis . While researching different ways to strengthen the muscles around the hip and increase flexibility etc , I came across an article recommending these .
They seem good but are expensive so just wondered if anyone has any experience of them?

Use one every day for osteoarthritis in both knees, helps with stiffness and strengthens leg muscles

Use one at the gym regularly, honestly I despise the wretched things.

They are good for strengthening muscles though.

When i see folk using them outside on roads and bicycle paths they look so uncomfortable BUT i havent used/tried one.

I used one in gym for cardio rehab while waiting for two hip replacements. Found it more difficult to get onto than conventional stationary bike. So my advice try before you buy

I bought one many years ago and hated it. I also had mega problems getting on and off safely, but after 5 minutes, I was bored and cycling to nowhere. With difficulty, I sold it.

soop on the kitchen thread uses hers regularly for at least 30 minutes each time.

I hated mine, which took up too much space in my living room.

Definitely try before you buy.
