luluaugust I hope your DH is ok now. What a fright for you all. Susan I'm waiting for the boys to wake up! The car was frozen when I went out which was a shock to my system.

Morning all it’s still dark here.

I have been awake since 4am, gave up trying to get back to sleep at 5.30 and read my kindle.

Off to the gym and Farm Shop this morning, then some paperwork.

Hope our poorly morning friends are beginning to feel better 🙋‍♀️

Good morning from Perth. Awake much earlier than intended as DH had a fall backwards in the bathroom at6 o’clock. Very shocked and blood everywhere. Worried DD and SIL came rushing downstairs. We have managed to sort ourselves out as we have the long train journey back to Kent today. Both rather shocked.
Very best wishes to all struggling along.

Good morning from s somerset, I woke up to rain hitting the windows and the prospect of a miserably dull dark day, for the whole day

My jumper is finished, I had to order some blocking bits so cannot do any more until they arrive. Result this morning is a sore thumb joint so I must not knit today, Mouche the bear will have to wait longer for his dungarees. I had intended to finish that ufo but it will have to wait.

My mission is to use stash, including some rough and ready thick home-spun yarn, from left-over bits of fluff, which I can crochet to make a small bedside rug and to heck with colour matching, I could start that today but really I don`t want to sit as much as I did yesterday. I have cut out a warm cord fabric and will likely slowly start to turn that into a warm layering full-body pinafore, which I will definitely wear and quite soon too. Sewing means a lot of standing and moving, better for me than sitting

Have a good day

Good morning Mick and all from a dark northwest coast as I continue my convalescence after my op. Better day yesterday and I managed to eat a small portion of blended mince, followed by stewed apple. Swallowing is difficult but my DD is very patient. I’m crawling round the house like Julie Walters’ Mrs. Overall and climbing in and out of bed is a painful procedure.

Haven’t been able to read/watch tv/listen to the radio, but hopefully soon.
DS arrived last night and had to be told not to amuse me, it’s too painful to laugh😁

Glad you see an improvement Mick and thoughts to all🌺

Good morning from a wet Oxfordshire, I haven’t opened the curtains but I can hear the rain hammering down, so it will be a wet dog walk this morning.

Will have to pack for holiday today as BIL is now very ill and we have to go down to see him tomorrow, then we go away on Wednesday.

I woke up this morning with a feeling of dread, something that I haven’t felt for a long time.

Have a good day everyone, don’t get too wet.

Good morning everyone from a dark and cold Belfast 2° but apparently will be 12° later and bright.
Yesterday after church we went to DD for lunch very nice.
Today DH has table tennis I will have the day to myself.
I don't think there's much table tennis going on, mostly talking!!
Laundry as usual.
Take care and have a good day everyone.

Good morning from the Black Country, where I haven't opened the curtains yet.

Up remarkably early (for me) as I am all blocked up and decided at 5.30 I am not going to sleep any longer.

So no walk or Line dancing today. Most exciting thing will be to make soup with the leftover chicken from yesterday.

Wishing you all the best day possible.

Good morning from Malta where we expect 31°C today.

I’m just having a coffee before going to watch the boys as they are still not well enough for nursery.

Littlest had to go to the clinic yesterday to be put on the nebuliser. He has got croup so is now on steroids. Poor little chap.

I had a quiet day yesterday after meeting my pal for coffee and watching the tennis final. I went to bed and slept for over two hours. I felt mentally and physically drained after last week's events.

Wishing a good day to all. ☀️

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Still dark in South Yorkshire but promised to be a dry day. Had a pleasant afternoon yesterday watching GS play football. I’ve known some of the boys in his team since they were seven year olds and now they are young men. I felt old. Lovely to have a day with no wind which kept the chill down. A good match and a win for us. Managed to get home before it got dark and the CH boiler was flashing a fault so I shall have to ring the engineer this morning. It was only serviced last week. Laundry to do this morning and then this afternoon if it’s dry I’ll give the front lawn what I hope will be its final cut of the year.
Have the best day you can, folks.

Good morning from a wet Bristol. We had our first rain in a few days, which have been glorious.
After church yesterday, I pottered. My quiet was disturbed by a phone call “hello, grandma. Can I come over now?” DGD, who was bored waiting for Iris who was swimming.
She’s turned into a delightful girl. We had a great 1 1/2 hours chatting about this and that before her dad and Iris came to pick her up. It was such a pleasure seeing her.
She told me she has been recalled after a school audition to play in “Godspell”, which she describes as “bonkers”. Not having seen/heard it, I can’t pass judgement, but it can’t possibly be more bonkers than “Seussical”, which the school put on last year.
Today, Tesco and pottering, getting ready to go away on Thursday.
I’m glad Md has been enjoying her DGDs, that some things are getting “less worse” for those in trouble/distress. May today be kind.

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 2° and dry. Yesterday I felt a bit unwell and stayed home and pottered. I did have a quick trip to Tesco but didn't really do much . I had a bad night too. Today is early childcare day and both boys will be with me all day because it's the October holiday. Dgs2 is incubating something as he wasn't well yesterday. I'm going to take them to soft play for an hour to work off some steam, then we'll see how they are. Have a good day all.
