Morning Mick, morning All. While the ground is saturated we’re promised a dry day with some sunshine, hope that’s right.

Relieved to have a lift to the committee meeting yesterday as our route was flooded in places. Passable but goodness not fun. Very tired afterwards and still this morning. Nothing pressing today other than to empty the car boot of unwanted photo frames and canvases at a charity shop where we know they will be welcomed - we checked. If energy permits a short walk and definitely some lunch at our favourite garden centre.

Safe travels to all on the move, hope Thursday is kind to us all.

Good morning all from a brightening North Leicestershire.

Sainsbury's delivery at 9.30 as we are going to the theatre this afternoon. DH has a blood test at lunch time.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning from s somerset, it looks as though it will be sunny and dry today, I hope so

It was cosy indoors yesterday but so dismal outside and too much rain. I intend to be outside today for a couple of hours, my garden is attractive to nature so I will be in nature and will also go for a walk as soon as it is properly light

My intention for the rest of today is to take it as it comes and I am hoping to finally block my spacetime jumper

Have a good day

Good morning from Shropshire where a dry day is forecast.

The Harvest Festival yesterday was lovely.DGD read very well and H’s class sang their harvest song with gusto.Afterwards DD had to leave her car at the top of the lane and walk home where she found the postman stuck in the floodwater.SIL came to the rescue and towed him out with the tractor.

This morning is the dentist, my absolute worst and then visit mum this afternoon.

I have attached a picture of DGD’s hair from crazy hair day at school last week.Hopefully it raises a smile on this gloomy day.

I hope all our grans in sick bay feel better soon and safe travels to all on the move.

Good to have the date for your operation Redcar.

Have the best day you can everyone🦩

Good morning from soggy south Glos 🙄
We had our Covid and flu jabs yesterday, had a lovely chat with a friend while waiting - we’re hoping for no side effects 🤞🏻
I did do more embroidery, very relaxing while listening to podcasts or audiobooks.
Financial advisor is coming this morning, I need to get a move on and walk the dog first.
Have a lovely day 🌹

Good morning from a dark, damp W Kent. Only four of us turned up for the U3A art group, we don’t really know one another yet but we enjoyed painting some Autumn leaves one of the ladies had picked up in the car park! Today more art this morning and then more ironing this afternoon.
Hope those with Winter sniffles and throats feel better soon.
Bonnybanko what a delicious meal

Good morning everyone from a very dark, mild and wet Essex.
Yesterday I had a phone call from the hospital where I’m having my hip replacement, giving me the dates for all the pre op appointments! Lots of things I need to do before the operation, and can now get myself organised. Well, that’s the idea anyway!
I’m at DD1’s again today, looking after the dog and possibly collecting the granddaughters from after school club.
grandmattie enjoy your trip, and safe travels to llfl tomorrow. Hope you’ll soon feel better grannyivy.
I hope today is kind to us all.

Morning from S Hants, dry I think. Safe journeys to gMattie and Oldudders, enjoy your last day LLFL.
Yesterday I took out all the old plants from baskets and tubs, ready for violas, I’ll replant today, a friend visited in the morning for coffee and a chinwag.
I’ve got a niggly tooth and know it’ll have to come out, I’m just clinging on to it as once it’s gone, I’ll have to actually wear my denture!
No real plans other than planting and a walk today.

Morning all from the Rhone. This is our last full day before going home at the crack of dawn tomorrow,

A trip to a vineyard and a tasting session. Captain’s Cocktail Party followed by Captain’s Dinner. We’ll have to pack at some point!

Have a good day.

Good morning from a dark and looks like a wet Cambridgeshire. I have an appointment to get my eyes checked at hospital this morning and a phone call scheduled with an old friend who does not live locally later this afternoon. Otherwise I am still in the sick bay resting up binge watching TV. I always struggle this time of year on leaving the summer months behind and with the cold weather and dark nights looming. I do ease into it gradually but long for spring to arrive again. I have to push myself not to hibernate and get out there and enjoy each season for what it is.
Wishing a happy healthy day to all 💐

Good morning from Malta where it is warm and dry at present but rain showers are forecast.

Yesterday I took myself for a very long walk along the seafront. I realised, after all the walking we did in Poland, how idle I’ve become so am going to try to be much more active.

The arm of my glasses was fixed for no charge but there was nothing to be done about the scratched lens. I’ll just have to put up with it until I need new ones.

Today some jobs around the house, another walk if the rain isn’t too heavy, and tennis to watch later.

Safe travels grandMattie, and wishing a good day to all.☀️

Good morning from sunny Rhodes.

We explored the Old Town yesterday, my feet are very sore, we walked for miles!
It was a joy, such history and all so well preserved.

More exploring planned for this morning and an afternoon on the beach.

The warmth is much appreciated, it always seems a greater luxury being in the sun when it’s cooler at home!

Good morning from Durham. Been awake for hours with a raw throat and the start of a cold. Feel fine in myself, but I’ll take it easy today.

When I read the whole thread later, I hope there’s better news from our unwell GNs.

Best wishes to all. X

Good morning from a dry ish Bristol.
Yesterday we had a deluge while we were chatting at the residents’ coffee. It’s a good time to see others and to chat to the manager.
The rest of the day was spent preparing for my trip today.

Good morning from a dark but dry Torbay following a very wet day yesterday.

Up early and out for DH to catch a train from Newton Abbot on the first leg of his journey home to France.

Wishing everyone a good day, especially those with worries about vulnerable parents. 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩
