I do try to see things from Israeli press and reports, and not just Palestinian sympathetic feeds and I aim to see as much as possible from both sides as it were, but of course it’s unrealistic to be completely neutral.

I personally try to be aware of intrinsic bias and not to merely seek out information which confirms any preconceptions.

Would have given a financial boost to the NHS for starters.

Little people could make huge donations to charity and offset that against income tax. I used to collect for a charity and at least one person used to make a large donation, using a special charity cheque book.

Also, anything left to charity in a will is exempt from IHT.

We will never know what the late Queen Elizabeth left in her will as senior Royals wills are secret and never disclosed. King Charles would not have to pay inheritance on any private wealth left to him by the Queen, which must have been considerable.

The point here is that the RF are taking from some charities and redistributing however much they choose to other charities. Hardly altruistic, fair or decent.

I find it totally abhorrent that the royal family exist.
They only exist because of what their ancestors did.,
conceived on the wrong side of the blanket as it was called and heinous acts against others.
I’m a total moderate for most things but not against
Inequality.
I could never curtsy to another human being and owho was begat as all others and will die in the same way.

Agree with you. All this started with self declared royals, the bullies of the time. Then we were invaded in 1066 and the land grabbing began and it hasn't stopped. Why do Charlie and Wills need SO much money? Sheer greed.

It was an unfortunate moment, in a documentary made a few years ago, that the then Prince Charles chuckled as he joked, ‘Keep paying your rent.’

I have no doubts that they know excactly what is happening with regard to their assets.

The King recently thanked his tenants in a “jocular” manner for paying their rent… captured on film…These homes that are not fit for purpose. Awful just awful.

Legally they might be in the right as they see it, to collect rent from charities, the MOD, empty prison building, the list was shocking.. but mortally? That’s an entirely different question and one that really should be asked and answered.

Absolutely no excuse for charging the MOD rent on the land they use to train the men and women who are responsible for the protection this king and country. That really shocked me.
