Holiday insurance

I have decided that it would be very foolish to travel abroad now, given my comorbidities and unpredictable health and I cannot find anyone to insure me anyway.
I was told by an agent, that I had too many conditions and that was prior to my heart diagnosis.

It would not be fair to my family, who would worry the whole time I was away and even worse for my poor husband if anything happened, so I am resigned to short holidays at home.

Cheapest we found for 2 of us, was Co Op. Came in at £430. Both with various health conditions.

After spending ages doing quotes for travel insurance to include USA and numerous medical conditions ( none very serious) yesterday I finally went with All Clear at £350 annual insurance. Staysure who I previously used but only for Europe was double that.
Slightly cheaper was Tesco Insurance but All Clear was a better policy.

All Clear quoted £1000 for a weekend in New York, pre pandemic! Staysure wouldn't insure me.

I am of the opinion they actually don't want to insure people like me.😉
