Slim? 🤔
Not how I'd describe Peter Kaye, much as I like him 😀

MissAdventure Tue 12-Nov-24 23:08:41

And I knew it wasn't Peter Kaye.
Narrowed by another, admittedly slim, margin.

Oh, I've got my people all mixed up.
I knew it was a northern bloke, anyway, smile

Well that narrows it down!!

Same for me, I suppose I've never watched him.
Just the sight of him makes me switch off.

He was a model, at one time, too, I believe.

No it’s Vernon Kay who used to be a model.

Paddy was an actor discovered by Peter Kaye, and was the doorman in Phoenix Nights I think.

Can't stand him, not that I watch him, but that's why, because I can't stand him lol.

He doesn’t endear himself to me, however I can find no references to any online abuse, if that’s proven, it’s a criminal offence.
He continues to share the family home with his ex wife and children

MissAdventure Tue 12-Nov-24 13:12:22

I didn't know any of that.

JaneJudge Tue 12-Nov-24 12:46:52

or ex wife I should say. He had an affair. She has had a recent autism diagnosis and their three children have autism. He needs to have more respect

JaneJudge Tue 12-Nov-24 12:45:59

the online abuse towards his wife is appalling as well

MissAdventure Tue 12-Nov-24 12:40:07

I don't like him.
I don't know why, I just don't.

I have no real opinion on the man, don’t know much about him, but I diybt very much that a sitcom about his own divorce is going to be funny or easy viewing.
I prefer Would I lie To You and Have I Got News For You if looking for a good belly laugh. And despite complaining about US exports I must say that their sitcoms are always head and shoulders above ours.

Apparently Paddy McGuinness has written a sitcom about his separation and divorce. Fortunately the BBC have shelved it as they think it is insensitive.
I wonder how much lower this fellow can go.
No amount of cycling around the country will endear him to me I find him a dispicable human being.
