I won December 2019.

I think the coffee machine win was 2017. It came with a guarantee but was out of time. It was repaired late 2020 after a problem with it (I just checked my emails).

I won the Forest Holiday in 2014, the other two prizes in 2018.

Gransnet is the poor sister. Money and sponsors dried up and the people who run it lost interest.

I never entered any of the competitions because I wasn't eligible as I live abroad.

Mind you, these competitions that have been mentioned above must have been a long time ago. I joined when my first DGC was due and he's 10 now and I don't remember any of these prizes being up for grabs.

Oh, I miss those days!

I won a week’s Forest Holiday for four - DD2 and DS and partners went and could take their then under 2s for free. Then an afternoon tea with M C Beaton with an overnight stay in Stirling. And one Christmas I won a Bombshell dress.

I had some lovely books from the Book Club.

I’ve entered a lot of Mumsnet competitions and won a potty training book with my first attempt. Nothing since. smile

I won some books. Quite a surprise.

Auntieflo Wed 13-Nov-24 09:03:37

Correction, It was actually Mill Rythe on Hayling Island.

Auntieflo Wed 13-Nov-24 09:01:09

I did win a couple of books, and also a "Turkey and Tinsel " break at a Ryde holiday place, back in 2017?
It was the most ghastly place. We stayed one night, after having our room changed.
I did let Gransnet know, and sent them photos.
Gives me the creeps just to think about it now.

I won a duck egg blue Roberts revival DAB radio and a copy of The Dangerous Book For Boys.

I gave my adult son the book, (it was nearly Christmas), but I kept the radio for myself.

First GN competition I had entered, I was thrilled to win such great prizes.
