Well being “right of centre”I don’t expect anyone to want to meet me ha. Think most GN Posters are to the left- but I like having other discussions on all topics really. I have learnt so much about life in general on here 😊

I’d like to meet Queen Camilla. She seems very down to earth and friendly.

I’ve met some GN’s in the past which was nice.

I don’t feel comfortable naming GN’s I’d like to meet so won’t, and understand the reason given by usedtobeblond, too.

MaryDoll - her posts make me smile, she has a lot of health issues, but somehow just carries on regardless. Added to this is our like (obsession) with shoes and matching underwear to outerwear!

FriedGreenTomatoes2 (Urmstongran) simple really her happy place is very near my family home and where my sister went to school. Our parents are dead and, our home has a new family, when she posts about it I can visualise and smell the air, bittersweet memories.

Whitewavemark2 we are politically opposite, but I respect her sense of right and wrong. I love her descriptions of her garden and would like to know how she designs her various flower beds.

MaizieD I have learnt more about a countries economics from her posts and links than I realise.

There are many more posters who I would love to meet, especially those who I have exchanged emails with. I am sure we would chat for ages 👍🏻🤣

I have made good friends through GN and we do meet up and put the world to rights ☕️🍰

Well you and I nearly met a few years ago UTBB when I came to Manchester to go to the theatre with Annodomini but I think you were poorly at the time.

It’s nice to be able to put faces to names and I have met some lovely Gransnetters over the years.
Naming names now (or worse omitting them) though might offend somebody.

I'm sure a large majority of gransnetters are probably lovely, interesting people.

The two I chose are - one - because she always makes me laugh, and the second because we frequently crop up on the same threads and tend to have similar views.

It didn't even to occur to me to get offended if I didn't appear on anyone's list.

My reason is - these posters and I seemed to be in the same boat, (in more ways than one!)
Of course I'd like to meet others who don't fit that category. There are some very interesting, and occasionally humorous, posters on GN.
I wouldn't be so unpleasant as to mention those who wouldn't be on my list.
