I worked at a primary school and used to video the dress rehearsal of the Christmas concert and then download it for parents (for a small fee which boosted school funds). This was very popular as those who wanted videos had them with no coughing, chatting or people standing up to take pics.
Anyway, one year one of the teachers was very concerned and asked if I had caught little "johnny" on the video as his mother had put him in shorts that day "so he could not only get his hands down, but up as well!" Luckily I must have missed that! Phew!

Many years ago I worked in an office as the only female - one colleague was particularly obnoxious and did his best to make me uncomfortable. One day he stood in front of me and started fiddling with himself - I very loudly said "look I know it is very small but you don't have to keep checking it is there". He never did it again - at least not in front of me

A penis at the end of his arms? Goodness me, I've led a sheltered life.

I once had a pupil, in a small remedial reading group he was 14, this boy always had his hand down his school pants.
I had no hesitation in saying ‘Raymond get your hands out of your pants!’ He always obliged although looked vague in as much as to say ‘What’s the problem?’ 😂

A GS of mine used to sit around playing quietly with his genitalia from the age of about 3 - his parents explained to him that it was best not to do this in public, but he went on doing it. They concluded it was a sort of "tic" - a habit that he was not really conscious of doing - like playing with a comfort blanket or toy. They therefore took the decision to ignore it as commenting on something that he was doing involuntarily would make him uncomfortable and anxious.

It went on in varying degrees for several years and then faded out of its own accord - and he is now a happy 13 year boy with no anxieties.

A teacher once yelled at him - "X - leave your penis alone!" - he did as he was told.

On balance I think his parents made the right decision not to keep drawing attention to it, but simply distracting him each time. There was nothing sexual about it - it just happened to be there at the end of his arms!

When I went on holiday to Egypt some years ago I was warned never to touch the money. The local men tended to keep it in their pants!

Yes , I have certainly noticed men picking their noses .
I think that some of this behaviour is influenced by footballers and lad culture in general .
It's fun to be vulgar !
But I have to write this :
most of these lads have spoken to me very nicely, helped me with my shopping trolley onto the bus and given me their seats .

Has anyone else noticed how men pick their noses when they're on their own in cars? Whenever I'm stuck in traffic jams, which is quite frequently in Bristol, I can almost guarantee that a nearby solitary male driver is doing this. I've seen young and old, smart suited office workers, tradesmen and taxi drivers. I suppose they think nobody can see them or maybe they just don't care.

Footballers have a lot to answer for, with their spitting and bits-fiddling. Young lads copy them, thinking it's perfectly ok. When you're actually talking to a male and he is fiddling with himself, it is extremely annoying.
When my own son was re-arranging himself, I told him it was unacceptable in front of other people. He said it was because he was wearing boxer shorts and his 'bits' kept sticking to his leg!

Reminds of a meme once. Showing a baby boy with his hand ‘down there’ and the caption was ‘ now the fascination never stops’.
But I honestly think that much (although not all) of the time, our simple, or is that single? Minded male counterparts just don’t realise where they are most to the time, when they have to scratch their ‘ego’! Maybe if we stop being so offended or disgusted. Just call them out on it and tell them to go find a toilet cubicle or wait until they are in a private space! Because they are too old to believe that it will fall off like many have been told when they were boys.

Having witnessed an old neighbour pleasuring himself until fulfillment in his car whilst watching ladies - I absolutely hate men fiddling around with their bits and that includes scratching themselves .

The Primary One boys in my school were always doing it. Their teacher said not to make a fuss, it was a comfort thing!

Well , I am watching the TV but I can still see the window, the wall behind, part of the rug on the floor and part of the fireplace. I must have super vision😁
