I've used the home collection service. I ticked a box so the collector brought a label so l didn't need to print it.
It's not our postman who collects, it's one in a van.

The Royal Mail/Parcelforce has been collecting parcels from your home for a long time but I don’t think it gets used much, I have a couple of times

I use the service - Click and Drop (though I don’t usually drop, postman collects) for parcels. I find it very convenient and so far everything has arrived very quickly - usually the following day.
I do sometimes drop at the parcel postbox in town, if I’m going in anyway.
It certainly beats queueing at the post office!

Last Christmas Royal Mail collected a parcel from our porch. I printed the label online and arranged a date for collection. It was great. I have also bought my Christmas stamps from them online. Yes you have to pay postage but finding a post office around here isn't easy nowadays.

Just saw the advert that they have started, the Amazon box system where you pick up/drop off your parcels at a central location into the tin box.

Just wondering if it asks, does your parcel contain any batteries?
