Horrible pop-ups on GN

Have got those awful pop ups again on here of famous people with terrible injuries to their faces, have seen Rachel Reeve and Richard Branson.
Why this keep happening?

I'd try deleting browser history and cookies.
I've never had this problem.

I don’t get any I haven’t got any ad blockers either but I think Apple must get rid of them at source
