Help please Nottingham

Yes just seen Astichintime’s post and the forest stop is even nearer.
Just that we stay at the Premier Inn at Phoenix Park.

I go to Nottingham fairly regularly and we stay at Phoenix park which has a large public car park and is a tram station.
The tram system is excellent and not expensive.
It takes you straight into the Market square where the Christmas market is.
I assume that is what the winter wonderland is?

Google Forest Tram stop Nottingham - it is a Park and Ride facility with a Tram Stop on site.

Might it be a good idea and park on the outskirts and go in on the tram? I haven’t driven into Nottingham for years though. I could ask my son although I think he usually uses the tram.
