I have a friend on the diet jabs and she is delighted so far. She's down nearly 2 stone and has bought herself some new clothes and started wearing makeup again. I am happy for her.

I agree with Elegran eat the same as everyone else. It's Christmas but just don't have seconds

Well, if anyone is relying on Morrisons to deliver their online order it looks like touch-and-go whether it's going to happen at all.
According to the BBC news website it's Morrisons turn this year to have technical problems - some customers are getting an email to say that their order has been cancelled. At this late stage?
So, dieters and non-dieters alike will have to cross their fingers, it seems.

I'd be frightened to death to use these diet injections. I feel sure there will be problems down the line.

Put out all the normal foods and let them choose for themselves. If they want to martyr themselves to their diets then it's up to them but there's no reason why others have to.

Oh, how I agree!
Besides, giving guests ready served meals is quite wasteful as one never knows the appetite or dislikes of that particular guest.

Grannywanny Not to be impolite but my father always opened all doors for a direct run to the bathroom when a certain person in our house ate sprouts. “Sprouts came with consequences”, he joked

I'm with those who say serve everything as usual, and let them help themselves. I'm a Slimming World member, and know exactly what I can ( should) have over this time, whether or not I stick to it is another matter. 😁

Turkey is low fat and veg are healthy. It is the extras and the way things are cooked that adds the fat and calories.

Love a water biscuit with a slab of butter and wedge of full-fat cheese!

🤣 Brilliant.

Why don’t you ask them what they would like?
I sat next to a lady in restaurant who was using the jab, very close tables, and she only ate half of a small starter and said she was full.

Cook it as you would normally do , serve everything up in dishes and meat on a sliced on a platter, let them help themselves, Turkey is low fat so shouldn't be a problem, but the trimmings that qo with it might, and if they help themselves they can just have what they want, a salad type started with prawns or smoked salmon should be low fat too, a fresh fruit salad for dessert. If they over indulgence it's up to them to put up with the consequences. I would offer some plain boiled potatoes as an alternative to roast or mash, if they are not eating they can be made into a potato salad for boxing day. Are they staying with you? If so get extra loo roll in, in case they over indulgence as that is the negative with the arrangements injections.

Lean meat and plenty of fresh vegetables surely wouldn't go amiss

No food is off limits, that’s not how the drug works, some people may have slight nausea with certain foods, but by no means all.
So to answer your question OP, whatever they fancy.

They can have the same as everyone else. Christmas dinner is not a time to diet. One dinner won't cause them to be thrown out of heaven for eating a meal of real food.
