I’ll be having Christmas dinner at one of my Grandsons and staying overnight as they are an hour away and then come home for Boxing Day at my daughters. So no cooking for me.

I think a Christmas your own way and your own pace perfect Paddyann54. Patsy70 What a clever idea, I will hope to remember that.

Thank you for your cheery message, Luminance. Lucky that you remembered the turkey. I am also in danger of forgetting whose present I’m wrapping, so write the label first 😂. We’re with my daughter and family on Christmas Day and my son and family on Boxing Day. My OH’s daughter and two sons are coming on Friday and staying for the weekend, and we going to the panto on Saturday, then to our local for dinner. So, I’ll be cooking on Friday and Sunday. Happy Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄

We,ve opted for Christmas Day for just we two.Daughter keeps asking if we,ve changed our minds, son says they,ll set places in case we do.Its good that they care but it’s been a hellish 18 months and we do see all the younger generation often so decided that for the first time in 51 years we,d like to spend it by ourselves. We,ll see them during the weeek and have them for dinner on New Year’s Day but you,d think we had disowned them by the reaction…..lol It sounds very ungrateful when I see it written down but honestly I,m done in

Thank you Luminance, a very happy Christmas 🎄 to you too.
All going well here , Christmas Day with our daughter - no cooking for me this year,! Family here on Boxing Day for a buffet lunch. Pleased to learn you didn't forget the frozen turkey. Have a lovely time .

Dear all.
How is your Christmas preparation going? Any lovely plans to look forward too? I have discovered a new skill, I now have the ability to forget who I am wrapping a present for before I finish wrapping it. Thank goodness I remembered the turkey was in the freezer. Unfortunately I didn't forget the cursed sprouts. Looking forward to a small celebration this year with with nearest and dearest.
Merry Christmas from my family to yours.
