Good Morning Tuesday Christmas Eve 2th December 2024

I've had my sherry at DD's already and am slightly miffed to find that it was the end of one bottle, and they haven't got another one....... Should have brought one from home.
Still I'm sure I'll survive on fizz or a G&T.......

Another reader but rarely post. I enjoy hearing from you lovely people each morning. I’m in the US but our family loves the UK. Family ties to Wales and Scotland so we visit as often as possible.

A lurker here but wanted to wish everyone a Happy and Peaceful Christmas.
Loving thoughts to all who are sad, worried or unwell.

Like many ,now we are older, children and grandchildren all in various places and all doing their own thing which is as it should be,it’s just the two of us tomorrow.

We will spend a quiet day with nice food and time to reflect on and be thankful for Christmases past whilst looking with hope and a prayer for a more peaceful World.x

Grandmafrench how lovely to hear from you, although I'm not so sure about being blamed for bad weather in France!😂 Tesco✓ pharmacy ✓ garden centre ✓ daughter's house and two hyper boys ✓ my brother's present delivered✓ bulbs delivered to neighbour ✓ also to aunt and uncle ✓ last trip to Aldi for sherry (see what you've started Ash)✓ and now home to have a cuppa and scone then potter about before tv watching later. Carols from Kings is my favourite Christmas Eve programme. A sincere Christmas from me to all of you.

Good journey

Good morning Mick and all from a bright northwest coast.
Arrived back late after a food journey from Berkshire with DD in her good car.
Had a lovely sociable time with her friends in the area and taking the bus into London, sitting on the top at the front which I love. Italian meal and then carols at the Albert Hall, so uplifting.

Now to get organised for tomorrow when DS and DGD will appear, there’s lots to do as I have been away…

Good morning everyone. It’s misty here as promised.

I’ve to make a table decoration today. No cooking or baking to do. Presents wrapped yesterday after looking everywhere for two of them. Found eventually. I hid a rose in my wardrobe one year. When I moved the clothes to get it out it had grown and got very leggy looking for light. Frightened me out of my skin.

I’d better go and get dressed etc.

You mostly all seem so busy with plans, I hope they are all you wish for.
For those of us who are much older and live on our memories of Christmas past, I hope they are happy ones to get us through the day with no sadness.

Good morning from a dull but mild Black Country.

Not a lot to do here now. Just made the stuffing for tomorrow, then a bit of ironing and relax. MrJ has just popped into town for goodness knows what?

Only Mum over here for Christmas lunch, so I will have to go over, then take her back in the evening. Then back over Boxing Day to pick her up as all the family are meeting at DD's. Will be meeting Nieces boyfriend, and DGD2's girlfriend.

Then Friday, we are off to Bristol to see MrJ's DD's and stay overnight in a Hotel there, so back Saturday evening...phew! The it is DS's birthday Sunday, he will be 49, and I can remember that day like it was yesterday. Ask me what I did last week though
