Irrational dislikes of people you don’t know..

I don’t know trump, Elon Musk or Mrs Baddenoch but I don’t think my dislike is irrational.

I can't stand Lorraine Kelly, either.

We'd all love to be Jolly Nice People who are never judgemental, no matter what, but I don't think it's in human nature to be so saintly! I get irritated by untalented people being given presenting jobs on TV. So does DH, especially when presenters display jaw-dropping ignorance about something they're paid big bucks to yak about., Example: when Petroc Trelawny once referred to the cellist Yo Yo Ma as "she", the air in our house turned a ravishing shade of blue! DH still snorts and groans every time he hears PT's name! It's probably quite normal to "take agin" the odd person now and again and, if I were you, I wouldn't worry about it.

I cannot watch James Nesbitt. I have the same reaction as when the news is doing dentists & show someone having their teeth drilled - I feel panicky & have to look away. No idea why.

Grandma70s I am so with you on Sarah Moore, I just cannot watch Money for Nothing solely because of her, ridiculous I know. I actually have a very long list of people I cannot bear to listen to on TV, way too many to mention, but Lorraine Kelly probably tops that list. My dh's top dislike is George Clarke and his various home improvement programmes.

Can’t agree about Luke Littler.

I was pleased when he won the darts, for a young man he comes across as quite humble, unassuming, level headed…..

I hope he continues to be successful, and remain as sensible and unspoiled as he seems to be.

I also don’t like Matt Baker or Paddy McGuinness.

My friend can't stand Angela Raynor as she looks so much like a girl who bullied her at school.
I dislike few people I don't actually know and come to think of it I don't dislike many people.

Amanda Holden would be mine although I try not to dislike anyone. I do know what you mean though. I guess we all have someone lol

I always disliked Dawn French, there's just something about her, Jennifer Saunders seems fine though!
I can't really explain my dislike of those mentioned, it's just a sense, a feeling deep within my psyche. 🥴

I like Attenborough because his voice is so soothing, but my OH thinks he's pompous and annoying. Then again he likes Joanna Lumley but I can't stand the woman.

I had to write his surname as that, because I don't know how its spelt, its pronounced Alli-guy- er, and he's a newsreader.
