“I’m the right way up.” A very elderly lady I knew always replied with this.

My day used to say I’m still here

An elderly gent I used to know would reply "One foot in the grave, the other on a bar of soap!"

When my Dad was in his 90’s he would reply “Well I’ve read the paper and there’s no mention of me in the obituary column so that’s a good start to the day!

My MiL‘s response to “how are you?” used to be “surviving!”

Love the Norwegian response but I think my preferred one would be "Up and laughing" 😂

I telephoned a lovely 91 year old family friend the other day who is sharp and witty still but crippled with arthritis . I asked how she was her reply was “well I’m still here!” I then said I hoped to come and visit on a particular date . Her response was “ Oh I have just cancelled my skiing trip so that would be great “ I was momentarily taken in !

Yes, we like to try this out when we are in New Zealand, where the most common response is "Awesome!" We get a few surprised looks!

I was brought up to reply “fine thank you” even if my leg was falling off 😁
