I thought Harry was the one who may have felt the urge to help; he was a soldier and one of the many jobs soldiers do is go in after a catastrophe and attempt to bring order out of chaos.

No, I've never heard of her but certainly she is making herself very prominent (self-publicity?) pronouncing on various news outlets about the fire and how others are getting things all wrong.

I truly don’t know why anyone even cares about Harry and Meaghan. They live in the USA and if they want to show support and empathy with fire victims, so what ?

That’s exactly how I feel now. I used to care but they’re not our problem. If Harry wants to trail round after his wife that’s up to him.
They don’t have a lot going for them at the moment. Meghan’s show will be postponed and Trump will soon be investigating Harry’s visa application.

Exactly, escaped. And I'm sure if I was one of those affected by the fires and desperate for help, then I wouldn't particularly care where that help was coming from, or the motives of those giving the help.

We all use people, unconsciously or not. It's part of how we engage with the world. Sometimes, it's based on a "what can you do for me basis", but I agree with others on this thread, that this time there may have been a genuine wish to go out and support the victims. I don't know, no one knows.
