Well it's afternoon here in Leicestershire (one of the wet bits!) It is windy, but also beautifully sunny and the sky is worth looking at. We are more fortunate than some. I do hope all of you in the 'way' of this storm are OK - you all sound very organised. I am fed up with some posters (on another forum) who are annoyed with the weather warnings system. I think they don't understand that it's a forecast, not a guarantee and if, in your particular location, it turns out to be better than predicted - then good! I'd sooner people were safe and those who really need to go out (my example is always 'brain surgeon') had a clearer run, without bring held up by others who could have stayed at home. On here, I think we are maybe wiser and more community minded than some who seem to just think about themselves and want, personalised forecasts (and a lot of other things tailored to them).
What medical conditions seem more common now than when you were growing up?
