We were fortunate a couple of years ago to stay at the Spa Hotel which is also the England base for tournaments, ooh aah 😯

I was born in England but live in Ireland so happy for either team to win (I think)🤔

Didn't England play Ireland last weekend and lost 22-27. ?~I dont think there is a final in the six nations competition.
I was disappointed in the first half where i thought both teams, especially the French were under performing and made a lot of errors.
Not one of the best but a close exciting finish.

Being Welsh I had no skin this game (having been flayed by Italy earlier and slaughtered by the French last week 🤬) but expected England to win 👏. I opted for Ireland to win another tournament - we’ll know more tomorrow…

I think the weather made things slippery and sticky. It was the same in Rome where the rain was coming down really fiercely.
I wonder if this affected the first half . France are a much better team than they looked to be. at times. Last week they had at least two brilliant tries when they played Wales 43-0.Don't know what has happened to Wales .Does anyone on here ?

It took a long time for England to gel, 2 errors from our kicker, good result, eventually.

Well it certainly kept us on the edge of our seats! Couldn’t believe the two missed conversion kicks!
But it ended with the right result!
Also our local team won. So a good days rugby.

Agreed Pantglas.. I’m predicting another tournament victory for Ireland if it carries on as it has so far. Wales are woeful, we just don’t have the quality players at the moment - hoping what goes around comes around soon.

It’s a round robin tournament, not a knockout (so no, no “final”).

I think we’ve boxed so far above our weight in the past Casdon we’ve come to expect success but realistically we’re the smallest country (3.2 million pop.) in the tournament with a correspondingly small talent pool!

Oh to have the sheer numbers of England, France and nowadays, Italy eh?

I secretly root for Wales ( after England and Scotland)as rugby is their national game.
