Good morning all from another dry and dark day in north Wales where my morning infusion is particularly pleasing… wonder why? 🤷‍♀️ Same tea, same chamberpot ☕️

So many sadnesses and worries for loved ones on this thread and I’m joining in today as I run Mr PG to docs this morning for blood test then to x-ray 🩻 in Llandudno as GP is unhappy with the wheezing accompanying this dreadful cough he’s had since New Year.

Anyway, chin up and shoulders back, we’re off to cinema to see September 5 then early tea around the corner before returning to PG Towers and pulling up the drawbridge for the evening- feel like that some days doesn’t it? ❤️‍🩹

Will pop to see Dad tomorrow 🤞he’s ticking along!

Have as good a day as you can everyone x

Good morning from another chilly dreary day in Bristol. Here too the ground is damp; drizzled? Rain? Who knows? It’s just dreary. The sooner February is over the better!
Yesterday went well. I did a lot of “stuff” including the laundry and some sewing in the morning.
My Later Life meeting went well. Our main sponsor, a local financial advisor + solicitor has been unwell for a while, so was absent. He’s barely 50, but is an ardent supporter of the elderly. Lovely man. His PA does a lot of heavy lifting to keep everyone on the same page.
Today, I have morning prayer, then setup for FAB cafe, which I shan’t attend as I would like to come to the residents’ coffee. In the winter, we see very little of each other as we don’t have a communal lounge.
I have the library book group in the afternoon. “My Cousin Rachel” this month. It reminded me so much of the Prince Harry and Meghan situation…
Have a great day. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
