Music in the gym.

I'd rather have silence.
But then I don't like the gym...

Yes, it's nothing new. The gym has got away with it until now. It's not prohibitively expensive and it's fed back to the artists through royalties.

All premises including gyms have had to have a licence to play music for years.

I went back to keep fit today and was very disappointed by the generic loop of music played. We normally dance to 60s music and it makes you work harder when the music is good.
The government I'm told has forbidden music without a license that the gym can't afford.This was news to me and I don't think I'll go back.
