Good morning from Malta where it is cloudy and a high of 16°C is forecast.

Thank you for all the kind messages and prayers for my niece yesterday. She and the baby are home now so hoping all goes well.

I’m going to renew my passport today, but not looking forward to the drive or the hanging about but it needs doing.

As the passport office is near the cemetery, I shall take some flowers to DH. It’s a while since I’ve been.

Apart from Mass, I had an unproductive day yesterday and am annoyed with myself for wasting it.

Sorry your eyes are still troublesome grandMattie, ditto your heaters.

Take care all and have the best day you can.☀️

Good morning from a dry, frosty Bristol.
My “intelligent” night storage heaters in the living room have decided not to give out any heat for the third day running. The problem is that I have a very old one in the hall, which blasts heat out at 3am, then is stone cold by 4pm. That gives enough heat for the “intelligent” ones to decide what tomorrow’s heating requirements will be.
The manager is very sweet but hopeless with requests for repairs and replacements; one has to ask regularly and persistently for months/years for anything….
My sight is still problematic, with glasses on I feel dizzy and nauseous; without, I get a headache as I can’t see…. I’m going to see if straightening the glasses will help. Not holding my breath.
Probably some sewing today, eyes permitting.
My phone has lost its “ding”. I must DGD for help when I see her later this week.
