She messaged me the other day, to let me know that she was in hospital and was sorry to hear that I was so unwell. However, I didn't realise that she was at this stage.
I am so sad to read this news.

She has been a lovely GN friend to me. I am heartbroken, she fought her illness so hard. x

I am so sorry to hear this Grannylicious I've met Auntieflo a few times at our meet ups (with cake). Such a nice person, and always fun to talk to. I hope she get's her hospice bed soon and you have time together once she's there. Do give her my love, I'm sure others will be along soon XXX

I am Auntieflo’s DD, and I introduced her to this site some years ago, as I enjoy Mumsnet- (under another name.)

Auntieflo wanted her friends on here (Greenfinch and others) to know that she has been quite unwell for some time and was admitted to hospital over 2 weeks ago. She has now sadly deteriorated and is for Palliative Care only.

She has been referred to the local hospice, so if any of you pray, please pray that a space can be found for her soon as it will be a much more peaceful environment for her there than the hospital.

She is currently in a 2 bed bay, and I have said I could read her any replies that she gets when I visit again tomorrow.

Thank you to anyone who has chatted and met up with her over the years.
