Savings after retire

It is what it is, surely, if you have stopped working? Are you currently receiving an occupational or private pension or living off your savings until you get your state pension?

Ok so I know I’m in a better position than some but just got to thinking about state pension etc

I get my pension next year .. I’m retired due to ill health, own my home and am single
When I receive my state pension I will have c50k left in savings, I feel it’s enough to give me a “comfortable” twilight.
I’m lucky (or not) my illness prevents holidays so my son and family and my animals are my joys.

Just wondering on your thoughts?
