A late good morning all. A milder morning, dry and sunny this morning in Glasgow.

A late start due to a broken sleep last night. Oh, well…c’est la vie…Basic housework, time in the garden and I have a dental appt. in an hour sums up my day ahead.

For the first time ever in 2019 I had a photographer take mine and DH’s photos as we needed digital ones for visas to go to Kenya.

I then used the photo for my passport renewal in lockdown and again for my buss pass.

It was worth the £30 not to look like a corpse in my passport 🤪

I always read posts, and don't often post, but after seeing the wonderful progress Karma has made at the allotment, I just wanted to say you are one amazing Lady.... Super work, and just WOW.!!!!

Cold but bright this morning and we have lots of daffodils dancing in the stiff breeze, much better viewed from indoors I think. Laundry and some admin this morning, a couple of friends coming for a cup of tea this afternoon. They don’t really know one another but both have sons who are GPs so have something in common.

Amazing pictures, Karma, I am in awe of your industry and energy. Glad the doctor visit was satisfactory, Corner, hope things go better. Salutations to brave Marydoll, hope the Duracell bunny behaves.

FGT my mother used to say that there were two types of passport photos:- that of the murderer and that of the victim!

Good morning Mick and all GN's on a "cant make up its mind"morning in North Yorkshire. It looked very cold out when I first creaked out of bed, but now there is a little breeze and it keeps starting to rain a little and then stops. No sun, so really dont know what it plans to do!!

I have had chance to read lots of posts today as I am in slow to stop mode. well done Karmalady , you have put lots of effort into your allotment and I enjoy reading about it. Thankyou for all good wishes, and today my eye is improving a bit, not quite so gritty, but I am rubbish at putting in the eyedrops!! Sometimes get it in one, but have had drops running down my cheek . The instructions say not to let the eyedropper touch the eye so it makes it harder to do. Anyway no doubt I shall improve over the next 4 weeks!
I am coping with that ok but my ..... back is giving me hell rather. Besides the actual pain, it means I am getting little sleep and at the moment cant use my favourite sitting under the shower to improve things. So watching the tortoise rush past me is rather annoying!!

I am just very slowly doing bits and pieces and plan to venture out on the yellow peril when the weather has made up its mind as to what it is going to do. .If it is very cold I will probably not go, as am cautious about the wind in my face etc, but would like to get some new bread and really just get out of the flat for a bit. I did manage to fill in my driving license stuff and later today when I can be bothered I need to check through letters and bills and make sure I havent missed any dates that are vital. Time to get the calendar out and mark up dates for next month and I look forward to getting out and seeing the flowers. I can see quite a lot od lovely daffodils coming out now but still not a sign of a leaf on the tree.

Hope today is a good day for you all, with less pain, and something positive for everyone. If I get out I shall definitely be smiling at people, and have already sent my thanks to all the staff in the hospital who were very good to me.Take care of yourselves

Enjoy your walk and picnic with Babydoll today Marydoll - the west coast must be balmier than it is here. DGD3 said she and a friend are bringing the dog (a crazy red setter) for a walk along one of our beaches on Friday and would I like to join them 🤣. I said I'd stay home and warm and order in the pizzas!! However I AM doing tai chi on the beach on Saturday morning - but that's different 😉
I'm off soon to my Thursday tai chi class so must leave you to go and get ready. And remember, it's March. The weather can only get warmer 🌴🌻☀️

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s a bit sunny but very cold out. In an hour or so we are going into the Post Office next door to renew our passports (see soops last night!). Might as well get mine done at the same time as mine runs out in August, so with 3 months back on it for return journey from Málaga I’ve really only got till the end of May anyway and it’ll get busy at the Passport Office in the summer months.

As you can see, we hope for a speedy service! Must remember to put some coral lippy on. My mum used to say “if you look like your passport photo you’re too ill to travel!”.

Afterwards a well deserved coffee in the square I think. I felt pretty agitated yesterday teatime thinking of this and how lucky we’d noticed in time. Imagine being refused boarding at the Ryanair gate!
