Had they worn their seat belts and their driver not been speeding and having had alcohol maybe they would be here today.
Organising those circumstances into a plan for murder would be too complicated even for Agatha Christie.
Diana’s connivance in her own death and her willingness to cause the potential death of another, is difficult to imagine.
On the other hand, I wonder why Mr Burrell avoided being in the car.To accuse Diana of conniving in her own death really takes victim blaming to another level.
I do not believe Diana was murdered. She made a huge mistake in not wearing a seat belt, she wasn’t to know her driver was drunk.
The RF made a mistake in removing her protection
I thought she refused the protection as she thought it was Charles keeping track of her. I'm sure I read that at the time.
I don't think she was murdered unless you think the drunk who was driving was responsible but I suppose that would be manslaughter in England, no idea of how it would be viewed in France.
