Brilliant news Miss A is home. They may have already told her but this is what my mom was told to use while having radiotherapy.. Only use Simple products shampoo, conditioner,shower gel ,face wash and deodorant. And use Aqueous cream before and after having radiotherapy to protect your skin. Because I got mom all she needed and used the cream daily she only had a pale rash . Unfortunately at the same time there was a young woman who travelled with mom as the local cancer charity had volunteer drivers to take people for treatments. She used body shop shower gel gave her a very bad rash which took weeks to heal and her radiotherapy had to be started from scratch .
Mom had 15 doses of radiotherapy and always used Simple products and aqueous cream until the end of her life .
My brother told everyone mom had got a couple of tattoos . He left it to their imagination what a 86 year old would have . Of course it was the 2 small dots they tattoo to line up the machine for treatment . Had her first dose on her 87th birthday and had no problems. Mom had grade 3 breast cancer.
She had her first mastectomy and lymph nodes removed when she was 73 but didn't need any other treatment was just on tablet beginning with T but can't think how to spell it for 5 years.
Didn't think they would operate mom the second time but because she had kept herself fit and healthy they did. But Mom told them she didn't want chemo as she saw what my husband went through and didn't think she would cope
She lived with me the last 18 months of her life as her dementia became worse and I couldn't keep being called out all hours of the day or night only to find nothing wrong . Had my own health problems.
Mom died 4 months before her body did . She was 90 when she died.
Those extra 4 years she was given meant she saw both my children get married and held her first great grandson and saw my brother get married for the third time . She was so happy as she said finally someone who deserves him .
I know Miss A will do everything she is told and because she is such a strong woman she will make a speedy recovery. No matter what life throws at her she fights through it and helps others . 🌹🌹🌹🌹
