Morning Mick, morning All. Our corner of Somerset is clear, 19 degrees forecast by lunch time. Goodness.

Three hours of chatting yesterday in a church cafe grandmattie knows well. The very pleasant staff are also incredibly tolerant of folk who move in! Mr C is amused that I spent the same amount of time travelling.

Hospital appointment for me first thing, locally thankfully, then we plan a quiet stroll by the beach. If energy remains some garden pottering later, perhaps tackle a house plant that’s outgrown it’s pot and is very top heavy. I should iron. Not if the sun is shining though.

Have the best day you can everyone.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where Alexa tells me it’s currently 4°C and will be 18°C later. Wowzer! Will be needing sunscreen at this rate. Which makes me think of Bonnybanko hope you’re alright dear lady.

My stepfather asked me to order some flowers for a family relative in Plockton. Job done. He’ll be pleased when we chat later. He likes to use a local supplier in Loch Duich that he’s supported for years.

Himself is meeting a friend for coffee in the square after we’ve done the walk to school with L’il Miss (plus the swings!). Back for her at 3pm. It certainly cuts into bookends the day!

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently -3° and frosty. GrandMattie a very happy birthday to your dgs. I wish him all the best.
Yesterday I dropped off the boys, then picked up some food at Aldi. Then I visited my friend's partner. It's nearly two years since she died. We had a blether then I left to see mum's room in the care home. It's nice enough with a full length window overlooking a small green space. The staff seemed lovely. Then off to the library for a bit of tidying shelves then pick up time for the boys.
Today I'm going to the care home when mum has arrived to fill in more paperwork. Then back to the library this afternoon to meet up with the Depute Head and the authority chief schools librarian to discuss next steps. I'm not sure yet what I'll have for dinner. Spaghetti bolognaise I think. Have a good day all

Good morning from a bright but frosty NE.
It was very cold overnight and I have been awake since before 5am.
Have watched the second episode of Protection on my tablet, I am enjoying it.
I am expecting a delivery from Waitrose today, topping up the wine cellar while my favourites were in stock.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from a bright W Kent. I am off to London today to meet my oldest friend. I haven’t travelled alone in a train since before Covid so quite an adventure. My friend is coming from Surrey, she has trouble walking now so I am hoping all goes to plan.
Yesterday’s small art group went well, it is really good how well we get on and lots of chat as well as painting.
Happy birthday to your DGS grandMattie
Best wishes

Good morning all from a brightening North Leicestershire.

I have to iron this morning and, this afternoon, the local writing group are having a public session in the village library.

Thank you for the lovely messages yesterday.

Good Morning from Durham. A better night for me and another sunny day forecast but still chilly out of the sun.
Passport application completed, will take to the PO and just the wait now.
Not a lot on today, but a chat to my house insurance company is needed after a proposed 30% rise in premiums.
Sad news kitty.

Best wishes to all. X

And it’s the equinox today.
Plus my beloved DGS (my Philip’s son) is 21 today too!

Morning all from a frosty West Oxfordshire.

It was my last WI AGM last night as Secretary. It was nice to be applauded after I read out my report and I was presented with flowers. This morning will be spent typing up the minutes and that will be it!

OH and I had lunch out with the U3A lunch group. It was a new venue and lunch was excellent.

This afternoon I have another U3A thing - the Art History group which I belong to. While I’m out OH will visit his bees.

Have a good day.

Good morning from s somerset ,a beautiful sunny day

I floated along in my usual fashion yesterday, sometimes hard to pin down what but I did not waste the day. I, spur of the moment, quickly made a lovely tablecloth which is now uplifting my kitchen/diner.

Every so often, I get that lovely `surprise` when I notice that I have actually made a space and yesterday that happened when I was going through the contents of the ottoman in my bedroom. Must keep on using the beautiful body oils, a special hedonistic treat to me and stored in my ottoman, amongst other things. Such a lovely scent

A delivery is arriving today and I must wait in so I think I will sort my fridge again, organic veg is arriving tomorrow, I love that it comes so early, usually before 7.30. I need to rotate drawer contents every week so will concentrate on making soup today, for the freezer. I like to have an empty drawer for the new veg

Reading today, lots of spinning also and I may take my spinning wheel outside, I like spinning in the sunshine. My mind is no-where when I spin. Lovely

Have a good day

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from South Yorkshire where it is currently overcast but we will see the sun at some point. We had a very good session at our writer’s group. The librarian leads us once a month (the rest of the time we do our own thing). We all managed to produce something worthwhile but my handwriting is so awful these days that I struggled to read it out! I may start taking my iPad.
I came home to a phone call from DS who is up in the Yorkshire Dales having a trial run in a motorhome, and then I went out and planted up the trough by the front door with polyanthus and narcissus, top dressed my roses and called it a day.
Walking this morning, then lunch at DDs and a coffee with my niece on the way home.
Have the best day you can, folks.

Good morning Mick and everyone. It's 2C outside in Cheshire at the moment, but apparently it's going to be really warm later. I noticed a big difference the sunshine has made in the garden with shoots and buds appearing. Some plants I'd forgotten about making an appearance.

Just about to message my sister in hospital to check what kind of a night she's had.

Painting group this morning and I have three unfinished pieces of work I need to get on with. There's always plenty to talk and laugh about so it's a real social event which lifts the spirits. Once a month we have lunch at a cafe in the village and it's today.

Enjoy the sunshine and have the best day possible. Kind thoughts to those with worries or sadness.

Good morning from a still chilly Bristol. Bellasnana, we are forecast a high of 18C today!
We have probate! In October 2923, I went to a solicitor to apply for probate for DH. By a series of neglect by the solicitor and inattention from DD, things were put aside, until now… I can’t believe it has actually been granted.
Yesterday was frantic with things happening, morning prayers, FAB cafe, Ladies’ Guild. I had a hurried lunch and rushed back to get ready to serve the refreshments. My two ‘helpers’ are aged and not very useful. ☹️
Today, I’m at home. Resting? Oh no! When talking about fetes for the various Later Life thingies, I commented that at the last event the cakes were horrible (Costco I believe) and that home baking was so much nicer… Dug a hole for myself, didn’t I? So today, I’m baking for a local Dementia group event.
Spanish homework. That’s my day.
Have a good day,one and all. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from Malta where it is bright but not very warm. A high of 15°C is expected.

Had a nice meet up with my friend yesterday and we went and did a bit of shopping after our coffee.

I’m off to look after the boys now.

Hope you all have a good day.☀️
