I am tucked up in bed on a cruise back to Sydney from going round NZ. We swtched the telavision on for news and I have just watched my team Wales in Cardiff, sing our anthem and score their hopefully first goal. Also texting via WhatsApp with my lovely step son and DGC and sending them pix. Tech has been brilliant for us on our travels.

Yes it's truly a privilege to have quick and affordable communication with people we love who are living "overseas".

So much easier and "warmer" than occasional 3 minute phone calls or 6 weeks letters!
I do know how much my mother loved those letters though when we lived in America. I know she read and re-read them.
